500 g flour, 30 – 40 g yeast, 1 teaspoonful powdered sugar, ½ glass milk, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoonfuls rum or cognac, 100 g milk butter, 250 g quark, ¾ glass sugar, 1/2 teaspoonful salt
Mix yeast with 1 teaspoonful sugar, add warm milk, add, while mixing, little flour and let it rise. Whip butter and eggs with sugar, add quark, rum, lemon zest and put together with the predough. Knead the dough well and put in a warm place to rise.
Add zest of 1 lemon. Divide the dough having risen twofold into portions and put them on an oiled baking tray to rest and rise. Over a while, apply milk or egg and bake in the hot oven for 25 – 30 min. Apply melted butter to finished buns and pour powdered sugar.
